IT – TECHNICAL SUPPORT II
JOB SUMMARY: The main purpose of this position is to provide technical support service to internal users along with developing and maintaining the existing technology infrastructure.

JOB DUTIES:
* Technical User Support
o Assist users with hardware or software problems
o Maintain control of technical issues for five (5) locations (Canada and U.S.)
o Software/Hardware evaluations for new product introductions
* Maintain the Network and Phone Systems
o Install new servers, monitor all windows 2008/XP/7 systems
o Migrate to newer technology where needed
o Maintain security (VScan, SPAM, Intrusion etc…)
o Maintain Shoretel phone system
* Maintain Internal ERP system
o Develop and debug .Net programs
o Monitor performance, upgrades and users issues
* Perform any additional duties assigned by the IT Manager
TRAVEL: Monthly day trips to US offices for IT support

QUALIFICATIONS:
* College Diploma and minimum one (1) to three (3) years of relevant technical support experience in an office setting
* Fluent in English, good French language skills required
* Proven ability to multitask, strong troubleshooting abilities
* Autonomous, good communication skills

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:
• Proficient knowledge of Windows 2008/XP/7 systems, Terminal Servers, VPN, VMWare, Exchange 2010, VB.net, SQL Server, Crystal Reports
