Glazier Medical Centre, a well established multi-disciplinary medical clinic in Oshawa is seeking an Accounts Supervisor. This position is responsible for all invoicing, reconciliation and analysis of all types of medical billings for this busy medical clinic.
Accounts Supervisor
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and must have worked in a medical facility or health care sector dealing directly with the OHIP and non-OHIP billing process. The candidate will be well versed with the OHIP schedule of benefits and have a clear understanding of the billing process. Experience with the use of an electronic medical record, billings and scheduling system is a must; use of the Jonoke Medifile system is an asset. Excellent MS Excel skills are essential. The candidate will be trained as a back up resource to maintaining the billing and electronic medical computer systems. Other minor accounting functions will be required.
This position reports directly to the Business Administrator and supervises a relatively small highly motivated experienced staff. The candidate must be flexible to work some evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
