Internationally recognized for its innovative use of population-based health information, ICES research provides evidence to support health policy development and changes to the organization and delivery of health care services.

EPIDEMIOLOGIST
(2 year contract)
The ICES Research Practice Division is seeking a motivated individual to provide epidemiological expertise and project management oversight in the context of our health services research. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating research projects in collaboration with investigators, analysts, students and application developers;
* Developing study protocols, data measures, data creation plans, and analytic plans;
* Conducting and interpreting data analyses using population-based health administrative, clinical registry and survey data;
* Contributing to or taking the lead on writing reports for external stakeholders and scientific manuscripts for academic publication;
* Completing comprehensive literature reviews;
* General project management including managing budgets, timelines and deliverables;
* Working collaboratively and effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Sciences or a related field
* Aptitude for research methodology and strong project management skills
* Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in the application of statistical and epidemiological methods and principles to health services research is preferred
* Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and/or database creation is a definite asset
