Salary(s): $38,734.00 – $45,202.00 per year

Qualifications:
Clerical/office experience in a responsible position dealing with financial matters is required. Work experience interviewing and working with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds is essential. Several years computer experience (MS Office) is essential.
Work experience explaining, interpreting and applying legislative acts and regulations and/or policies and procedures is essential. Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to handle a large volume of work and adhere to strict deadlines are essential. Good interpersonal skills are required. Knowledge of the Employment and Income Assistance Act and the SAMIN financial program would be an asset.

Duties:
Reporting to the Employment & Income Assistance Program Manager and working in cooperation with the EIA Counsellors, the Financial Worker is responsible for preparing and administering individual client budgets for financial assistance in accordance with The Social Allowances Act, regulations and policies.
