The Kenya Wildlife Service is a State Corporation, whose responsibility is to manage and conserve wildlife in Kenya.
In order to attain set objectives of the Institute, the Service seeks to recruit dynamic, innovative and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions in its Training Institute Naivasha.
Lecturer I
Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Duties
• Teaching, conducting research and provision of guidance to students.
• Provision of consultancy services
• Participate in development of training curricula and programs.
• Coordinate local and international training programs.
• Participate in the preparation of the Institute's budget and work plans.
Job Requirements:
• MSc in Environmental Sciences/Studies, Fisheries and Aquaculture Management or Limnology, Tourism or equivalent
• At least two (2) relevant publications in referred journals.
• IT Skills
• Three years relevant experience in a similar institution.
Lecturer II
Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Duties
• Provision of quality teaching, research and consultancy services. Provide appropriate guidance to students.
• Participate in development of training curricula and programs.
• Preparation of reports.
Job Requirements:
• MSc in Tourism Management or equivalent.
• At least One (1) relevant publication in a referred journal.
• IT Skills Two years' relevant experience in a similar institution.
