ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER
We have an immediate opening for an energetic Account Sales Manager who possesses mature business judgment combined with excellent computer, oral and written skills. Three years experience in the waterworks industry would be a required asset. A Diploma of Technology or Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized post secondary institution would be an asset but not mandatory. A Diploma or Degree in Sales Management from a post secondary institution would be an asset but not mandatory.
The Account Sales Manager will be responsible for working with and developing Independent Representatives/Agents skills to produce superior sales results in the assigned Canadian and U.S. Northwest territories with some international market development responsibilities. The account sales manager will be held accountable for sales revenue in his\her territory.
Duties would include but not be restricted to in-field technical sales calls, training seminars, application advice, trade show support, dispute resolution, field start up and commissioning, trouble shooting, competitive intelligence and growth focused territory management.
The Account Sales Manager will work out of our manufacturing facility in Surrey, BC, Canada however some consideration would be given to a regional home office in territory based on previous industry experience. Out of town travel expectations would be in the 18 – 24 weeks per year range including some weekend travel. Salary is commensurate with experience and a complete incentive and benefits package is included.
