Lakeside Steel Corporation is a manufacturer of high quality OCTG pipe and tubular products located in Welland, Ontario. We are currently seeking a Director, Human Resources to manage the full scope of Human Resources activities for the Company from their office in Welland, Ontario.

Director, Human Resources
Key Responsibilities include:

* labour relations management for a unionized workforce of
approximately 300
* pension and benefits administration
* compensation and performance management
* oversight of Health, Safety and the Environment
* employee relations

The ideal candidate is a well rounded Human Resources generalist with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Human Resources management capacity. Extensive experience managing labour relations, in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment is a must.

Familiarity with both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension arrangements is an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in the steel industry or in pipe and tube manufacturing.
