Othaya-Mukurwe-ini Water Services Company is a Water Service Provider contracted by Tana Water Services Board to provide water and Sanitation services in Mukurwe-ini and Nyeri South Districts.

Technical Services Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Technical Services Manager will be in charge of the Technical Department and will be expected to provide advice on technical matters of the company, overall supervision of the technical projects and operations through planning, directing and coordinating activities of the Company.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Directing, coordinating and managing operations and maintenance of water services infrastructure to ensure they meet customer needs.
• Organizing for project design, implementing and managing of construction works.
• Developing departmental strategies, plans and performance standards to facilitate achievement of overall Company goals and objectives.
• Carrying out effective consultation with all key stakeholders.
• Ensuring proper management of the company’s assets.
• Ensuring the needs of customers are effectively met.
• Any other duties allocated by the managing director.
Minimum Qualifications
• A University graduate with a degree in Civil or water engineering or a higher national diploma in water /civil engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in managing water and sewerage related services in a management position.
Qualified candidates will be employed on a three year employment contract basis, renewable upon meeting the laid down performance targets.
