Operations Manager and Supervisor Jobs

Our client is a leading professional cleaning and allied services company in the hospitality industry.

They seek to recruit focused, self driven professionals of high integrity in the operations department.

The following two positions are vacant. This is meant to build capacity as a result of our expanding business to all the corners of our country.

Position: Operations Manager

Reports to the Head of Operations and a team of supervisors

Job Description
• Responsible for implementing set standards in all the stations within the zone.
• Contact person with the client
• Responsible for guiding and motivating the supervisors.
• Responsible for enforcing health and safety policies
• Responsible for reporting on performance in all the stations within the zone.
• Responsible for creating interpersonal relationships with the client
• Among others

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum ‘O’ level.
• Minimum of a 2 year certificate course in housekeeping from Utalii college or Diploma in Housekeeping from a recognized institution
• Must have worked in the service or hospitality industry for at least 5 years and with 3 years experience in a managerial position.
• Excellent computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good skills in closing deals
• Training in a business related course is an added advantage
Remuneration: Kes. 25-35,000/= per month depending on experience.

Position: Supervisor

Reports to the Operations Manager and manages a team of stewards

Job Description
• Responsible for implementing set standards in the station.
• Responsible for coordination of daily briefings and giving feedback
• Responsible for guiding and motivating the stewards.
• Responsible for enforcing health and safety
• Responsible for allocating duties to stewards.
• Responsible for creating interpersonal relationships between the stewards and also enhancing good customers.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum ‘O’ level.
• Minimum of a certificate in housekeeping from a recognized institution
• Must have worked in the service or hospitality industry for at least 3 years as a supervisor.
• Excellent computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good skills in closing deals
Remuneration:

Kes. 13-15,000/= per month depending on experience.
