Position: Marketing Assistant
Location: Nairobi
Our client, a leading supplier in hospitality products including world class cutlery is seeking to recruit a sales and marketing executive. The position calls for a person with exquisite customer relationship skills, keen on detail and dynamic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To obtain knowledge on all company products
• E-shots – planning, creating , distributing company products
• Maintaining and updating the mailing list, creating a new list for all clients (Local/Upcountry/Regional)
• Website communication and updating changes as need arises
• Showroom product presentation with codes and prices
• Accurately maintain and update client database
• Conducting market research from websites, magazines and email
• Organizing events – giveaways/gifts/calendars/diaries
• Developing marketing strategies to position ourselves in the market
• Photography of products/events to be publicized
• Planning and executing product promotions
Qualifications and experience:
• A degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing option)
• One year experience as a marketer
• An ICT diploma will be an added advantage
• Flair of meeting people
• Interpersonal skills/Organizational skills
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
