Our Client is a marketing and activation agency dealing with the youth market.

Business Development

Reporting to the Executive Director, the position is responsible for providing a service to clients through an intimate understanding of the client’s business through utilization of the agency’s resources, with a commitment to providing an excellent product, resulting in client satisfaction and agency profitability.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development:
• Make professional presentations to clients on exciting and new projects.
• Maintain contact between client and advertising agency.
• Translate client’s marketing strategies into communication strategies which include establishment of advertising objectives.
Business Viability:
• Maximize sales & profitability through writing creative briefs that ensure that best advertising campaigns are created.
• Engage in pro-active and reactive environmental scanning to stay abreast advertising/promotional industry.

Business & Customer Relationship:
• Strategize and search/scouting for new markets in both the corporate and individuals categories.
• Manage client portfolios as well as maintaining client/supplier relations.

Research and Development:
• Study client’s brand and long-term strategy in detail.
• Know competitor brands and marketing activities they engage in.
• Continually feed client with new youth trends and how their brands can be benefited.

Client Sense and Client Satisfaction:
• Maintain and ensure the company’s interest and those of the customers are met.
• Participate in ongoing monitoring and nurturing of client relationships.

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing
Requisite Competencies
• Excellent in planning and organizing
• Superior written and oral communication skills, very articulate.
• Result driven and oriented
• Be able to work with minimum supervision
• Extremely confident, dynamic and energetic
