Safari Park Hotel, a leading five star hotel situated in Nairobi and serving the top notch of the Hospitality sector seeks to employ a suitable Kenyan Citizen with the right attributes to fill the positions below on contract basis for our renovation project.

1. Electrician (2 Positions)

2. Plumber (2 Positions)

3. Painter (2 Positions)

4. Mason (2 Positions)

5. Maintenance Supervisor (2 Positions)

Reporting to the Projects Director through their immediate supervisors, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for;
• Maintenance and repair of all Electronic equipment and plumbing systems and other general works.
• The Maintenance supervisor will be in charge of managing the staff duty roster, controlling inventory of the maintenance department, co-ordinating with contractors for major repairs or replacements, among other duties.

Applicants for all of the positions should have the following attributes;
• Aged 25 – 35 years.
• Holder of a diploma in the relevant fields from reputable institutions the status of Kenya polytechnic or the National Youth Service or university.
• Be in possession of at least Government Trade Test Grade One.
• Have a minimum of 3 years practical work experience in the relevant field.
• Supervisors should have a minimum of 3 years working experience at supervisory level.
• Physically fit with ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Ability to set the highest personal standards of work performance.
• Exposure in the hotel industry will be an added advantage.

Assistant Maintenance Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidates will be required to;
• Assist in the overall co-ordination and control of all maintenance work in the Hotel including routine servicing and maintenance.
• Assist in budgeting and control of the Maintenance budget and drafting business plans for the department.
• Assist the Projects Director to ensure the smooth running of all the construction and contracts of the Hotel.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager to manage an Engineering team of over 40 staff on a daily basis.
• Assist in renovation and improvement of the Hotel Buildings and equipment.
• Training and development of the Maintenance department staff.
The position is challenging and calls for a dynamic, confident, aggressive and forward thinking person with the following attributes;
• Aged 35 – 45 years
• Be holders of a degree in electrical/electronic engineering from a recognised University.
• Have at least five (5) years experience in plant and equipment maintenance dealing with electricals and electronics.
• Have a working knowledge of boilers, mechanical installations, refrigeration, plumbing and carpentry.
• Be Computer literate
• Previous work experience in the hospitality set up would be an added advantage.
