 Title: Business Development Manager - Voice & Data

Products: Alcatel /Genesys/ CISCO

Main Purpose of the Job
• Develop business plans and help coordinate marketing strategy, diversification and business development initiatives.
• Measure the performance of existing business, evaluating the process and highlighting opportunities that would lead to either an increase in profit, efficiency, productivity or competitive advantage.
• Product Development.
Main Responsibilities
• Deliver data and voice connections against agreed targets
• Build a pipeline of short, Medium and long term prospects.
• Provide accurate weekly/monthly reports by agreed deadlines and when requested timely adhoc reports.
• Build customer offers that maximise profitability for Daisy Communications whilst securing the new business
• Deliver a world class customer experience through effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Deliver solutions that drive data usage in line with the wider data sales targets
• Escalate and resolve service affecting issues that arise
• Ensure the provisioning and administration is well controlled and delivered within agreed timescales
• Ensure that customer solutions are effectively delivered
• Have a full understanding of the customer offer and experience delivered by competitors
• Seek and use customer feedback to improve the level of service offered to ensure that the customer is maintained.
• Ensure a timely and complete handover to a Corporate Account Manager once connected to ensure consistency in customer experience.
• Adhere to commercial governance in all sales activities

KPIs / Performance Measurement
• Achievement of agreed targets as set by the Corporate Team
• Weekly / monthly reports plus adhoc reports to Sales Manager
• Ongoing prospect database
• Accurate completion of Bid models
• Customer implementation/order documents
• End to end customer experience, customer satisfaction and manage customer relationships
• Attendance of internal & external training
• Enterprise Business and Brand representation

Key Competencies / Occupational Skills/ Personality Traits/ Profile
• A Tenacious new Business Hunter
• A proven track record in external Field sales
• An ability to work well within a team as well as independently
• A Technical Background


Candidates must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 4 years, over-target, new-business sales experience, selling to corporate ideally within a technology environment.

Preferably someone with Technical qualification or has the knowledge on the Job
