Accountant, HR and Clerk Jobs

Our client is an established manufacturer of home used products in the Kenyan market based in industrial area.

We are seeking applications to fill the following positions for our client:

Accountant (salary range 165,000)

• This is a role responsible for undertaking the company`s book-keeping, financial accounting, monitoring and reporting processes. The role holder is expected to perform undertake the following duties among others
• Recording of financial transactions
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements
• Preparation of annual and management accounts
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
• Researching and reporting on factors influencing financial performance

Minimum Criteria:
• CPA(K) or its equivalent or a B. Com degree
• 3 years post qualification experience in a similar or related position
• Strong financial numeracy and analytical skills with ability to interpret data
• An appreciation of the accounting dynamics of the services sector
• Experience in carrying out quantitative and qualitative analytical reviews on financial statement items.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of computers and experience in using accounting software
• High degree of honesty and integrity

Human Resource Assistant (Salary range 103,000)

As a fast growing business we invite applications from candidates who can demonstrate rofessional competence, high degree of personal integrity and maturity, strong drive for success, and possess suitable qualifications for the vacancy of human resource assistant.

• Ensure the company promotes or recruits and places talent correctly and supports best practices in HR, Formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Process performance appraisals; salary guidelines, resignation procedure etc.
• Assisting in the development of effective communication, and feedback systems,
• Managing and promoting the Company's institutional culture,
• Maintaining personnel records and processing staff benefits,
• Plan, monitor and evaluate staff training and development programs,
• Plan, direct and coordinate the administrative and office support functions of the organization,
• Developing employee recognition, rewards, motivation programs and retention strategies.

Minimum Criteria:
• Holder of a Diploma in HR or a Bachelors degree in Human resource management or related field,
• Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management or similar body,
• Possess at least 3 years working experience in the human resource field,
• Thorough knowledge and experience of the Kenyan labour laws,
• Computer literate as well as the ability to work under pressure.

Clerk (Salary range Kshs 67,000)


This is a role that requires delivery of excellent service to clients’ typical tasks including:
• Compile purchase data for customers in tables
• Present sales statistics and answer questions about purchases and making recommendations upon request.
• Send monthly statements to clients and suppliers.
• Check with customers to ensure their satisfaction
• Prepare bills that itemize and total costs and sales taxes.
• Ensure guidelines of service including removal of errors and unnecessary figures from customer records.

Minimum Criteria:
• ‘O’ level education
• Good ability to communicate in English both oral and written
• At least 1 year experience in a similar position
• Basic numeracy skills
• Good interpersonal and client relationship management skills
• Positive attitude and service orientation
• High degree of honesty and integrity
