We are looking to fill the vacancy for: Production Manager
Job Purpose:
Provide leadership and performance efficiencies at assigned production department in alignment with the strategic business objectives.
Duties:
Develop departmental strategy
• Approve already developed SOPs
• To participate in the process of formulating and implementing business strategy.
Optimize Human Resource Talent and Potential
• Performance Management
• Training and Development
• Mentoring and Coaching
Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with Occupational, Health and Safety Regulations
Optimize productivity
• Plan, execute and monitor production programmes that support Lean Manufacturing
• Ensure conformity with the National and International Quality Standards.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement process improvements.
• Effectively manage resources – materials, equipment availability
• Provide Leadership in the application of improvement intervention programs – Kaizen System
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and 14001
Skills/Qualifications:
• Min: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, production, Chemical, Industrial or equivalent)
• Registered with a recognized Engineering Regulatory body.
• Work Experience: 11 years minimum.
