Scholarship Description: The American Embassy is pleased to announce the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for the 2011-2012 academic year. The Fulbright Scholar Program is a nine-month program in which scholars lecture, conduct research, or pursue a combination of both at an American college or university.
Scholars holding doctoral degrees in academic disciplines including arts and humanities, commerce and finance, science and technology, journalism and media, education, and other fields are eligible to apply for the program.
The award funds international airfare, accommodations, living expenses, health insurance, and incidentals. The Fulbright Scholar Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars.
