THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil &; gas company to provide a Head of Project Control to assist ECP Manager in the management & control of Engineering, Construction & Projects (ECP) Team. Will supervise, coordinate & control all project service activities concerning company requirements / best practice. Residential position based in Lagos with some international travel & site visits offshore. Long term assignment - contract renewable annually. Excellent rates. Commitment to live & work in Nigeria. THE PERSON
20 years of professional experience with 15 years working on contracts, cost & planning administration / control. Contribute to optimisation of Oil & Gas production (offshore). Maintain reliable Project Control information (budget, planning, QA/QC records, etc.). Assist in definition & establishment of ECP Department. Control / prepare / review budgets & oversee monitoring of project costs. Coordinate schedule management. Monitor & control ECP Department contract activities: identification of prospective tenderers, preparation, tender evaluation / award & all post award contract administration through to contract close-out. Control internal & external reporting of ECP Department to ensure appropriate content & information quality. Allocate human resources in Department Team by directing personnel in their roles, responsibilities & objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in construction / management related subject: engineering, QS, Accounting etc. Team work, technical rigour, communication, organisation. Development of document control system (PRODOM) to allow transfer, review, comment & archiving. Fluent written & spoken English.
